Distribution and diversity of ants in Colombia

Azteca spp. by Andrés Sánchez

With this project, the myrmecologist community has been invited to participate with contribution in a “datapaper” type article on the distribution and diversity of ants in Colombia. Our objective is to assemble a dataset of ant species (and morphospecies) occurrence data present in the country. This information, in addition to allowing us to establish more clearly the geographic distribution of ants in Colombia, will serve as the basis for future associated studies.
